Every December come celebrate the holidays with us at the Festival of Lights
event. During this event, the Zoo will be brightly decorated with over 2 million

a 21-foot-tall computer-controlled tree with five colors of lighting, demonstrations
of ice carving, Santa, and live reindeer. You can also visit many of the Zoos
animals. The Zoo offers a unique gift shop as well as a variety of places to
eat. We depart with buses from Scioto lane at 5:30pm for the Zoo and return
at 9:00 PM to campus. For more information about the Festival of Lights, visit

Worldfest International Festival
The University of Cincinnati hosts over 2,500
students and scholars from 100 countries from across the world. Every spring
UC celebrates our international
flavor with a week-long event called Worldfest. Worldfest reinforces our respect
and appreciation for UC’s diversity as well as infuses a sense of pride
in our Global community. Worldfest consists of lectures, exhibits, career forums,
film festivals, and a multitude of other ethnic celebrations. The highlight
of Worldfest is the International Festival coordinated by UC International
Services. The International Festival consists of booths,
food, and performances of an international nature. It is our hope that Worldfest
will entice and open your mind to explore the different cultures that exist
here in our community. Time and venue of the Worldfest will be announced.
