Orientation
for Students: Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 8:00am to 4:00pm at
the Tangeman University Center in the Great Hall. Attendance is mandatory
for F-1 and J-1 students who have arrived for fall. J-1 students who will
be enrolled for classes are also required to attend. |

Mandatory OPT Seminar
|
All J-1 exchange Visitors are required by federal law to receive an orientation after their arrival.
Orientations are held on the last Thursday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The orientation schedule for 2008 is as follows:

| All students must attend an Optional Practical Training
(OPT) Seminar prior to applying for OPT through the International Services.
Please bring your
passport, I-94 card, visa and all I-20's that have been issued to you.
Year around seminars are as follows:
Tuesdays: 1.30 PM, 3134 Edwards Center One;
Fridays: 3:00 PM, 3134 Edwards Center One
